Overview

Ecogate Power Master VFD

Ecogate Power Master Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) automatically adjusts the speed of the motor on your industrial ventilation system's fan while significantly reducing electricity consumption.

This is no ordinary naked VFD, we've put a lot of features inside the Power Master hardware, and we've spent a lot of time preparing Power Master software to make installation, setup, and operation as simple as possible for our users.

Ecogate Setup Assistant guarantees trouble free VFD startup within one minute. The Power Master regulates speeds of 10 – 450 HP fans; available for 3-phase 230, 460, and 575V AC.

FAQ

Common Questions

Ecogate is an on-demand ventilation control system that uses automatic blast gates, sensors, and a variable frequency drive to run your dust collector's motor only as fast as the currently active machines require, instead of at full speed continuously. Facilities running multiple intermittently-used machines on one collection system typically see the largest energy savings.

Yes, a single properly-sized central dust collector can serve multiple machines through a shared duct network, provided the ductwork and blast gates are sized to maintain adequate capture velocity at each branch even when only some machines are running. Our Ducting & Duct Design service handles this sizing, and pairing the system with Ecogate automatic blast gates keeps airflow — and energy use — matched to whichever machines are actually active.
